Gus Nets Trustworthiness gives several examples of trust and ow to trust others. It explains what happens when trust is broken. This book also shows how it is hard to regain trust once it has been broken, but can be done in time. Gus, a cute and cuddly black Golden-Doodle loves his hob as a School Therapy Dog.

The Adventures of Gus series is based on the author's real-life therapy dog. As a K-12 school counselor, Cindy Cook Gant brought Gus to help with Character Education guidance activities that engaged children in her Kansas school district. 

The book series is based on the six pillars of Character Counts: Caring, Responsibility, Respect, Fairness, Trustworthy and Citizenship.
